Extracting 3D models from PS2 games

I was wondering how to extract some of the game content from PS2 DVD's. I have an ISO saved to my HDD with a total file size of 4.3GB. Yet when I open the ISO theres only 3 files with a total file size of 1GB. Wheres the other 3.3GB hiding? The files are System.cnf (0.06KB) IOPRP271.img (267.67KB) and SLUS_204.88 (732.92KB) The .CNF file seems to share the same file extension as windows dialer, but clearly isn't. The .IMG file wont open in photoshop ( i doubted it would) nor as a DVD img in IsoBuster (damaged file structure or unknown file system). As far as the .88 file, no clue.
