I have been backing up DVD's with decryptor and shrink for a while now with no problems.....

Anyway I have always wondered if I can uncheck the Dolby Digital and click the DTS???

I have a surround sound that has the option to listen to the movie with DTS or DD if the movie has it.

Now, is there a way to have both DD and DTS on one disk without it going into the RED?? And what if I uncheck the DD and check the DTS only?? Will it affect anything??

One more question. When do I use the Deep Analysis Tool???

I have heard about using it when I want almost perfect looking movies or when it tells me it is under something %?? What does all this mean??? Thanks.

As for the DTS part, i'm not 100% sure as I all leave is AC3.

As for the deep analyze part there is a guide at http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdshrink31-main.htm that explains it for you.

Can you uncheck the dolby and click the DTS? - YES - you said you have the digital output sound system for it. As long as you have the equipment it should be no problem working.

Can you keep BOTH items checked without going into the red? DEPENDS on the movie and how much you are trying to back up. If you backing up ONLY the movie - you will have a greater chance at being able to keep both of them on the single layer disk.

Just try and see
