well, those particular Ridata Riteks are becoming VERY scarce...very few places carry them anymore, have you ever considered getting the 8x DVD+R by the same company?
i've had quite a lot of success w/ Ritek Ridatas, but i used mainly the 8x DVD-R (RitekG05s), these were from a few years ago, they work WELL for ME~ :)
maybe you could consider getting the 8x DVD+R Ritek Ridatas with the RitekR03 coding...actually, many people have reported getting the RitekR03 coding on the 4x DVD+R Ridatas that you are looking for...so, either way, you are probably looking for a media coding that has proven to be successful for you in the past...
run a quick media ID check on the 4x Ritek Ridatas DVD+R you have now as see what it says, if it IS the RitekR03 coded ones...then just get them in the 8x DVD+R flavor and you will be good to go~ :)

If you want good prices on Ritek manufactured +R discs ... (No more 4x only 8x) ... Office Depot brand discs are RitekR03 and are on sale usually once a month .. right now they're 100 discs for $29.99 .. and the Office Depot brand DVD+RW discs are RicohjpnW11

Also,
Bestbuy has a sale every week on all kinds of media.
Last week, I got a 50 pack of Sony DVD-R for $19.99!!!
I saved $22.00. You have to check every week though, as another brand goes on sale every Sunday.
Sometimes good media, sometimes not.
Just a suggestion.

no, the Office Depot brand are RITEKS, the RICOHJPNW11 coding you are asking about are ONLY the dvd+rw's (meaning the rewritables....not the DVD+R format) :)

well, have you run your current Riteks (Ridata) through the dvd identifier programs i suggest from above? IF your current discs have that coding RitekR03, then YES, the office depot brand will deliver the same discs in the 8x DVD+R format~
Office Depot DVD+R 4.7GB RITEK...R03 8x
good luck~ :)

well, in THAT case, then getting the OFFICE DEPOT branded discs will NOT gurantee you getting the RicohJPN ones...sorry buddy~ from the info i have gathered from catfreak regarding office depot brand discs, i am under the assumption that they are ALL Ritek manufactured, not RicohJPN as you would like...
i'll have a look around, and see if i can give you better odds at finding a brand that used Ricohjpn made discs frequently...but, in the meantime...get the Office Depot brand if you want RITEK coded discs...finding RicohJPN discs are much more difficult as there are a FEW brands out there that use them, i'm just not familiar with the "sure bet" ones off the top of my head~ :)
