i am trying to remove a mod chip out of my ps1 so i could install it in another ps console but i dont know how the mod chip looks like... i opened the console and found a small chip with orange wires going to other stuff on the board.

Does the model number of the console matter with the chip?

i got it from a market used it worked for about 9 months or so.


on the chip it just says numbers
