What kind of problem are you having? What is the error msg you are getting?

I'm having problems as well, though I normally use MTR and then DVD2OneX. When trying to rip - either Full Extraction, Full Extraction with arccos, or Main Feature Extraction - it gets to about 115 MB, and then it spins and spins and finally gives me the bad sector error message - "This disc has bad sectors. All though the rip is complete, the rip may not playback. Please check prior to burning." The disc itself seems to play fine, on either a computer or a DVD player.

MTR did this to me with another disc (not The L Word), so at first I thought maybe it was the program itself. But I'm running 2.6.6, and I downloaded DVDBackup so I could try it - same problem. (By the way, the issue with the other disc was legit - it was problematic on the DVD player as well.)

Any ideas, or should I just give up?

@celeria

Not to be rude, but your question would better be answered here:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/57.

This is a DVD Shrink forum, therefore most of the people answering question are more familiar with DVD Shrink.

LOCOENG - thanks for the heads-up. That subforum was the first thing I checked when I Googled the issue, so I thought maybe people who were having problems specific to the disc might have some other ideas.

No prob. And like I said I wasn't trying to be rude but I have never use DVD2One, so my help to you wouldn't do any good.

If'n you'd like suggestions on other proggy's to use I would be happy to be of service.

That is an ARccOS protected DVD. You need to use a ripping tool that can handle that type of copy protection system.

I know that this disc can be ripped with DVD Decrypter.

Here is a link for an 'update' for you.

Search for the PSL2 (anti-ARccOS) plugin for PgcEdit in this webpage:

http://home.tiscali.be/debie.roland/pgcedit/

There is a bug in the current ver 1.10 that will say that there was a loop error. Just ignore that error - the created PSL2 file will work.

This bug is fixed in the next ver 1.11.

@ cynthia

I cannot find the place to download the mentioned plugin. In fact this plugin is really existing or I have only to follow the instructions of this thread?

Don't be too rough on me...my first post here.

Here is the PSL2 file that I used to rip this disk. I did not use the plugin to create the PSL2 file...just created it the old fashion way from the DVD Decrypter log file.

Hope this helps....
