Good Day,
I'm about to break !
I have this batch of Ritek Radata GO5 & both my drives wont take it.
I have Pioneer 108 (Filware 1.20B) & LG GSA 4163B (Filware A105).
When I use DVD Decrypter with my Pioneer I have the following error: INCOMPATIBLE MEDIA INSTALLED. With my LG I get: DEVICE NOT READY (LOGICAL UNIT NOT READY, CAUSE NOT REPORTABLE).
I Ran DVD IDENTIFIER ON THE DISC(1 that actualy worked).

Have you gone into DVD Decrypter/Tools/Drive/Refresh...to try and clear your errors?

Good Day,
Yes, I've tried that. You know with Windows XP when you put a cd/dvd in the drive there's a pop-up asking you what action you wanna take with the disc & what program to use. With that Brand of DVD it don't even ask me that! By the way, How do I disable this function anyways ?

That should be great media. I was reading a thread elsewere where someone had both dvd-rw's as masters. This was causing a conflict. Are yours mastered and slaved properly?
Just an idea.

You mean with the jumpers ? Because I have no problem with the other media & I've been using Ritek for a year now. How can I tell if I have a bad batch ?

Try other high quality like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Maxell (M.I.J) to see if you'll get a different results. If it still fails, then it must be a hardware issue.

You could check them with DVDinfopro and see how the sectors scan.
