Has anyone come across hub-printable silver (white is easy to find) discs that work with an Epson R200/320, etc.? I have some non-hub-printable silver TYs which look really cool with that sort of holographic effect, but the only hub-printables I've seen are Prodisc. If anyone knows of TY or Verbs of this type please post. Thanks.

Yeah... me too, I prefer the Silver Inkjet printable media, but how come they don't make any Silver Inkjet "hub" printables? I have the Yuden 8X DVD+R Silver Inkjet printable and yes, I really like the special holographic effect. If anyone know/seen any then please let me know.

Thanks, Teflonmyk, but I'm looking for hub-printable ones, as mentioned. I've ordered the Rima discs a couple of times but am sick of not being able to print to the center. I'm pretty sure they simply don't exist yet.

sugarray, yes, I have, but I only mention it in passing since I wouldn't take a stack of Prodiscs if you gave them to me free. I burn too many discs to cross my fingers and hope that I get a good batch of non-TY or Verb media. They are the only discs worth buying, IMHO.

Please elaborate and or be more specific. I'm having a hard time trying to comprehend the above statement. So are you saying that Ritek has the Silver Inkjet hub printable media or are you just asking another question that's all?

I use the Prodisc -R silver hubs frequently with no coaster or compatibility issues. I'm not saying they're great media - just that they work fine for me, especially considering that they seem to be the only silver hubs on the market.

I don't think these are "hub" inkjet printable media. It says "full face," but it doesn't look full face to me.

Datawrite Transprint 8x Full Face Printable DVD-R in a Tub of 25
Datawrite have introduced the new TransPrint technology on their new range of Full Face Silver (Hub) Printable 8X DVD-R. TransPrint is a new process, which involves spraying the disc with a thin film of clear lacquer. The practical effect is the clear middle looks as if it is not fully printable. The results of using this new process are, according to some industry watchdogs infinitely better then printable surfaces, which use the conventional method of applying a surface which can be inkjet printed. The cost of the process has been the main factor in most brands not adopting this technology. It utilises the Verbatim MCC dye, which has been voted one one the most compatible available at present. The disc has a Full face inkjet printable silver surface.

Thanks for the link, but it still doesn't look like a "full face/hub" printable though? I don't mind getting the MCC - MCC is another top notch media and yes.. it's one of my favorite media besides genuine Yuden and Maxell (made in japan).
