Can you play PS2 games from a hard drive without HD loader or any other cds softwares? Thx

if you can can you tell me what program the use to play from Hard drive with out HD Loader THX.

No. You need to hook the HD into the expansion port. To transfer games from your PC HD to your PS2 HD, you connect them and use a program called Winhiip to format your PS2 and transfer the iso files.

what are you taking about?

my ps2 has a toxic 0.2 hardrive on it, and you can play games without the disc after copying the games onto it

my problem is that i chose to start up my ps2 with the ps2 menu and now i cant get the hardrive menu back

i think i need a boot disk but i dont now were to get one from

He asked if you can boot PS2 games off a HD without HD loader or HD advance. Not that I know of without a modchip, MC exploit, or HD advance, HD loader. Of course you don't need the disc if you transfer the games to your PS2HD, that's not what he asked. Toxic isn't the name of your of HD, it's the name of your program mananger. You have Toxic OS v.2 a third party OS developed by Team Toxic for use with the DMS 4 Pro modchip, and as interface for loading games off the HD in combo with a modchip.
