do i need a mod chip or anything else besides a burner to make my ps2 games play in my ps2

Well Im no expert, Im more at the advance noob stage of PS2 Backup, but Iw known this even back in the PSX days, a Mod Chip will give you a automatic nearly perfect way to play all your PS2 Backups but it will cost ya... and of course there are cheaper ways to play PS2 Backups, but those aren't solid ways, and it can go anything from that all your games work to that not one single game working at all...

ya the cheaper one to play backup games is swap magic. do your research on google or the forums but its like 25$-30$ for swap magic with either slide card or flip top case. with swap magic u can backup games and play online with them. the tutorials are everywhere on the forums just look. i have swap magic with slide card and it works great. hey this whould help you. goto the link, it tells you the pros and cons of mod chips and swap magic.
