Well you can put it in your DVD-ROM drive and check to see what kind of files are on the disc. It should be a mess of folders and files like .sfv, .pss, .vol, .mov, etc.

Double click the DVD you put in. Normally your DVD drive would be shown in that spot.

Are you sure you clicked the DVD? How did you burn the DVD? Use DVD Decrypter. http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R. Use good DVD-R's. Try Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, TDK, Maxell, Sony, or Phillips.

A. Memorex sucks, try any of the other brands I mentioned. B. Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R. C.Use DVD Decrypter. D. This is all the same stuff I already mentioned. E. You would have no way to verify your backups work correctly without a modchip or Swap Magic. E. If you have a DVD +/-RW Dual layer burner, a blank DVD-R, burning software, high speed internet, and 10-20GB's of free hard drive space you can create PS2 DVD backups.
