I am a newb so if this isn't a great deal sorry, but for $3 you get 5 dvd-r's with cases. So for $15 bucks you could get 25 DVDs each with their own case.

I'd say that't pretty standard. But I think most ppl here only buy in bulk. I for one never buy any media/cases online unless I buy 100 or more. And your link's not working.
also, regarding "deals on Verbatim", most people that burn here need the actual DISC themselves, not the jewel cases...and when Staples has their Fuji sales, you can pick up a 100 pack of the slim jewel cases for $10~ :) a much better deal there to buy in bulk~
but as per your link...$3 for 5 pack of MCC003 coded Verbatim 8x DVD+R with individual jewel cases is still a little high in price...usually when looking for quality media, such as this Verbatim, $0.40/disc is the standard, anything cheaper..even better~!this deal is about $0.60/disc including the jewel case...depends what your needs are, IF you need the jewel case, 20 cents more is FAIR, but not when you consider getting 100 cases for $10 when Staples has their sale on slim jewel cases~ it's 1/2 the price of these here~ :)
with all things taken into consideration, BUYING IN BULK is always a better price, but if you only need a few, this is a warm deal... :)
