PS2 rules!! Much better library, but on the other hand, the XBOX does have a copule of good games *cough cough* Lol!

have you noticed that when you play games that you havent played in years that you get rekindled memories?and all of a sudden you get wrapped up in the game again.i played the legend of dragoon on psx a while back after not playing it in years and got all involved with it. i already beat it before but it was like playing a new game because i had forgotten it.and the same for zelda on snes(got into emulators for awhile).
and once again,id say ps2 has the better library of games.anybody want to voice their opinions on the upcoming consoles game libraries?
just kiddin,it will probably start a fued.
and does nintendo have any relevance in the console world anymore?nobody compares them like they do ps2 to xbox.

i've got an xbox and a ps2 but some reson the ps2 dose nothin for me i play it for like 10 mins and get board, spose only cause i aint got many game but anyways, i had gta sa on it and you know how you get on the freeway and you start passing cars and the start jumpin back and forth that kinda got annoying after a wile so i ended up goin and buy the game on xbox to see if it still did it and i didn't so in grapics xbox kicks ass but in the bigger game library ps2 probly wins but xbox might have a smaller library but most of the games are great (halo,1-2,fable,ghost recon 2, Shenmue II,etc)

PS2 has the better library. You have more games to choose from and each system has their great games but PS2 has more than just a handful of great games. PS2 all the way. I played halo 2 a couple of times and it seemed like just a doom clone. What's the big deal?

Whoa...sorry if I offended anyone, just got a PM from some gay a** called 0142397...
I find their are alot of Sony Fan boys around here, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I really think that PS2 come out with lots of games and they pretty much all suck except some, Xbox on the other hand comes out with a small amount, that all kicks ass!

Yes, Doggy_Bot, I agree, there are plenty of fanboys, especially one particular I have had encounters with in the past. you try and be reasonable but it's hard to be when they have the playstation attatched to their midriff.... (no names mentioned =)
I personally reckon Xbox has better games, if someone thinks otherwise, I respect that, and maybe even agree in some aspects. That's the difference between the fanboys and people who just like something

I've got a PS2 also.

Yup, 2nd that - especially in the games console forums. I know enough about them to be able to offer a great amount of help, but i have tried to go in there twice now, and twice i have been cascaded in with useless trashy flamewars "what is better ps2 or xbox" and the like (like this very thread!).
That helps nobody - but the honest truth is, 40% of afterdawners thrive off threads like that. The people who like to gossip/chat/argue, but they never help out & are pretty much dead weight.

I like the PS2, and will say that it definitely has more games than Xbox. As for likes, I personally find the Xbox totally worthless when it comes to games. Sure, they look good, but most games that were on it were all ready on PC or being made on PC, so there was no real point to get it. The only game I would personally play from the Xbox would be Toe Jam & Earl 3, cuz the first two games were crazy fun on the Genesis!

im tired of everyone's opinions and i wish you all would quit having any! people should be charged money for having an opinion.kind of like an opinion tax.but all the proceeds will go to the people who have to listen to all these opinions and had to seek medical attention from the effects of all these opinions.
it was my idea so i naturally get kickbacks from this tax.
oh,i say about...60% sounds fair.

LOL is it really a question?? lol. just check download sites, you'll see.
ex: mininova have like 900 ps2 games to download and like 150 xbox games to download. ps2 have like 5000 games in total, and 10 000 ps1 games all compatible in ps2. so xbox dont stand a chance at all!
even for shooters lol

k, i c! so yeah for u the xbox 360 is the best option I suppose, but personnaly I liked halo 1 ( I have an xbox and a ps2 ) didn't like halo 2 a bit, dunno doom, burnout not much fun for me, sw is ok, I dont really like mech games, fable was errr... 5 hour long? pgr3 dunno what it is. but most people liked GTA san andreas, Gran Turismo, final fantasy series, all other RPGs for rpg fans ( dragon quest, shadow hearts, grandia, etc, etc ) kingdom heart is same kind of fable with a lot more storie if you dont hate walt disney ( its not only for kid lol ) and is 40 hour long... burnout revenge is on ps2, doom too ( I think ), and for action fans you got metal gear solid for ps2, you got guncon agmes ( some fun ) for puzzles you got shadow of the colossus, for SRPG you got the NIS series ( la pucelle, disgaea, phantom brave, makai kingdom, for action games you have musashi samurai legend, devil kings, samrai warriors, dynasty warriors, god of war for big action by sony, soul calibur 3, tekken, and bloody roar for the best figther games ( tekken not so good, the last I mean... ) devil may cry 3 is another good action, sry to forgot it.. destroy all humans for fun without any story lol, castlevania for actiob fan ( symphony of the night was better on psx ) genji, dawn of the samurai is cool too, and jack x combat racing or anythinf like that for wierd racing, lol. auto modelista if you wanna modify you cars... guitar hero if you like music games, path of neo coming soon, as for dragon quest 8 and magna carta ( rpgs ) so if you like shooter after shooter and some car games and games like fable that you can finish without any difficulty nor challenge in about 5 hour max... I suppose ur good for xbox :S but I like to have lots of different game style! so xbox if REALLY not for me, it's for everyone to decide! what kind of games you like! :D
