ok ive saved a trailer from apple.com and i want to import it to vegas 6 but it will not read this new quicktime format has anybody figured out how to get this to work?

yea i do and it still doesnt let me it wont even recognize it. i thought it was a missing codec or something and even when i put in one it still didnt work.

What is the File extention?? You might consider if you can not get the File into Vegas 6 that you might want to try to use Quicktime to convert the File to an Uncompressed AVI file and then load the AVI into Vegas 6 to edit....if you convert to Uncompressed AVI there will be no quality loss but the Files size will be Huge....

the file is a .mov and yea i thought about converting too but i have just seen some other forums where people have trouble with the same problem i thought that they have found a way around it so i wouldnt have to convert, thanks for the help any more suggestions other than converting?
