Did you mod it? Could be a laser issue. The v.12 and 13 slims have a ton of laser problems. It could need a new laser, or laser fix. Will it load anything?

it is the old bulky playstation 2 and the modle number is scph 50003 it has not been modded it will not load anything because it will not spin wheb i took it apart to try to fix. everything was alright apart from it would not spin you still get the red beam from the laser though

Yeah it's a v9 or 10 PS2. If it doesn't spin, there isn't a whole lot you can do. You could try cleaning the laser with a Q-tip and rubbing Alcohol. If that doesn't work, you should get it looked at by a professional, and see what they say.

If i were you i would go back an make sure that i have all my power connectors connected. There are alot, so it is easy to miss one. Why would you take your PS2 apart in the first place?

If the disk doesnt spin what do you expect to play on your PS2, replays of PlayStation2 screen coming up over and over!! ;) ;)
Just kidding, get it checked by someone, remove the motor and power it with a battery and see if it rotates, dont give it power when its connected to the MOBO, REMOVE IT FIRST!!, otherwise you might blow a component, and use a battery that wont burn the motor out wither, it should say the voltage requirement on it.

Screw your infinity mod lol. Nah I got my PS2 modded with an inifinity today. I have to send it back to some defects. I'm sure it'll work once that's sorted out.
