Has anyone here been able to boot up Sims 2 via the Swap Magic trick? No matter what I've tried, all my back-ups simply cue up the initial game information/copyright screen and then freeze. I'm begining to think we may have another Gran Turismo 4 on our hands.

Any suggestions/ideas?

thank you in advance

*sigh* Rebuilding is always a pain, but it does make sense. I guess I'll mess around with it and see if I can get it running that way.
thanks for the suggestion.

do you need to rebuild this image becasue i have seen the ISO file size on torrent website at 879 MB, at that size there must be some serious rebuilding and dummy files.

Which version of Swap Magic are you using? My backup works just fine with v12 and Swap Magic 3.3. There's no need to rebuild, either; the TOC is only 3.30 GB... at least for the American NTSC release. The load times are annoyingly long, though, but that's just part of the actual game.

Please stop suggesting rebuilding all the time, people, unless it's actually warranted =/ No need to cause people to waste both their time and their DVDs.

well i burned it and what a suprise! it worked no freezing or nothing! -_- i think the people who was having problems need to sort out your burners. or get rid of your media and get decent media instead.
