For burning DL (or 1:1 copy) using DVD Decrypter.
- put original DVD inside dvd burner/dvd-rom drive
- open up DVD Decrypter
- Mode, ISO, Read R to your hard drive
- "source" --> from/where the original DVD is located (burner/dvd-rom drive)
- "destination" --> to your hard drive
_ then DECRYPT (now sit back and relax until it's successfully completed)
- now put a good DL into burner (recommend Verbatim DVD+R DL media only)
- Mode, ISO, Write W
- then WRITE.... that's it easy as smoking.

Gee, thanks so very much. I thought there was lots more to it then that. I have a Nero program I tried to use but ended up throwing out the DVD I tried to burn. Expensive way to learn, huh? Thanks again. Lois

Dvd decrypter's Mode Iso read and Mode Iso write is an excellent Dual layer backup program.
Nero is excellent on single layer backups, but does have trouble with the layer breaks so I don't risk it.

You forgot to mention to choose the mds file when in ISO write mode. This is what holds the layer break info.

Yes, that is true indeed and I agree with you. However, if you happened to choose the ISO and forgot to choose the MDS to write, DVD Decrypter will still pick the MDS file for you anyways.
