Hello,
I have checked a number of available programs, but have failed to find a way to check if a movie on CD or DVD is recorded in PAL or NTSC. I am sure it is a convenient way to do that. Could anybody advise, please? Thank you in advance.

Video CD's and DVD's are not recorded in either format. They are in the Industry Standard digital video format. It's the "Players" which change the Output to match the viewing system being used.
Think of all of the different types of Display Devices that can be used for DVDs, Video CD's and other disks. The Disk Format would Have To Be a universal standard or it would be impossible to market..
Thank you, Hursty, for the new info. I have checked a few AVI files. All of them except one were in the range of 23-25, one was 29. Ratio does not help either for all of them different ratio.
