I'm getting an error from DVD Shrink, stating

"DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Progamming error - exception occurred
The parameter is incorrect."

I have an avi files that I convert to dvd format using TMpeg and when I try to burn it to a dvd i get this error messages.
Does any one what cause this problem and how to fix it?

DVD Shrink doesn't burn DVD's,Nero does. So the problem is not with the burning part, its with the "shrinking" part. Thats why when DVD Shrink tries to load up after analyzing you get that error message. Something did not go right in TMPGEnc. I suggest you start over.

Thank for the explanation.

What would you recommend in converting an AVI to a DVD format. I have try using WinAVI and I get the same thing with DVDShrink. I try burning it straight from Nero, but I also get an error message.

First off, for AVI to DVD I would recommend Avi2DVD (What a surprise). Find it here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/avi2...
It very well could be an issue with the video file you're using. Try re-encoding the AVI with Avi2DVD and tell us how it goes.
