i'm new to the ps2 world and i need some asistance with some doubts i have. I've been told that if you play ps games in a ps2 you could damage the console. is that true?
I'd like to play ffix in my ps2 is there a way to back up the 4 cds in a dvd? if that is not possible what is the better way to back up this game?
I'd like someone to give me a good tutorial to back up ps and ps2 games.

ps2 is a reverse system it is meant for playing both ps1 and ps2 games so therefore no your ps2 will not get damaged by playing orignal playstation 1 games..

& in order to play burned ps2 backups u need a mod chip or swap magic disk. you can find great tutorials in the ps2 back up forums. but you then have to learn about patching the dnas for certain games to play online.
