AnyDVD can't be the problem. It only unencrypts the DVD, i.e. breaks the keys so that DVD Shrink can "open" the files.

"Did a dual layer with Decrypter iso read, then open mds, and iso write. Came out perfect using Verb +R dual layer."

what's "open mds" mean

A MDS file is a small meta file that contains description information about the associated ISO. In this case opening the MDS file will give Decrypter the info on where the layer break is at and then Decrypter will proceed to burn the associated iso file.

I have a weird problem.

There are these captions of who is speaking (in the audio commentary) that are on the top of the screen that I can't get rid of. What closed caption stream are they? Are they part of a camera angle?

I'm using DVD Shrink.

Can't you just press the subtitle button on your player's remote to turn off the captions?

Nope, I turn it off, and on all settings, it has those captions on top. It is the name of whoever is speaking during the audio commentary.

I had this problem with the original trilogy, but I honestly can't recall how I got past it.

I did disc 1 and disc 2 using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. Not a single problem. In Shrink I used deep analysis and maximum sharpness since I kept the director's commentary and the full motion menus w/ sound. Took a little over 3 hours but it seems to be worth it. I can't tell any noticable difference between the backup and original. Haven't watched the entire disc yet but haven't seen any errors either on what I have watched.

Hey guys had a wierd problem burning the disc 1.

I used AnyDVD and Clonedvd2 but when I watched it on my dvd player all I got was the main menu (which look great)then on my remote
(press enter)
then it kept repeating the begining of the 20 Centry Fox Logo like 20 times.

Anyone experianced this problem?

Im going to try to burn it using AnyDVD and Shrink tonight.

just try Shrink on it's own (though i guess AnyDVD shouldn't harm things though)

Anyone seen the hidden track of Yoda getting down? On disc one. It's hilarious! If you open the disc in shrink, it will be track 3 under the extras. To find it on the dvd, from the main menu select "options" then on your remote keypad type 11 then 3 then 8. Wait for the slight pause between each one. It should start playing automatically.

Has anyone found the hidden track of Natalie Portman's nude scene? I've tried everything! Maybe it's only on the unrated version.

Hi all I'm using DVD Shrink 3.2 and I loaded all the files up from the first dvd adn then I clicked reauthor and it has movie 1 angle 2 angle3 or something like that. Well I clicked on the one that is movie 1. and it goes over to another part of the screen by it self. Then from there I can burn just the file named movie 1. Is that the only thing I need to burn? Or do I need to put other stuff in like the menue or is that stuff all ready in with that file movie 1?

gong_girl ,CloneDVD 2 and AnyDVD will do the movie fine ,make sure you are using good blank media (Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim) and burn at 4X max. heres a guide to use the program

http://bbmayo.home.comcast.net/

and NO you dont need a DL dvd to do the movie a DVD-5 will work fine without a DL burner

Of course! Update AnyDVD. Udate CloneDVD2 (it's not called dvd clone 2, so are you using the right program?).

What versions of both progams are you using now?

Not the right one should be CloneDVD2 2.8.5.1 from slysoft, you have some other program.
