I have a media center 2005 with intervideo creator software OEM. It will not wrk for me--will not capture--when it does capture, it will not work in edit--it freezes and I have to do ctl-alt-delete to close it. The intervideo support people emailed me and said they do not support any OEM software--I have to go to HP. I go to HP and have to talk to philipinos or people from india who know absolutely nothing about intervideo creator or anything else that is not scripted for them. What can I do??? Is there another software that will capture a VHS tape and format it to a DVD?? I will uninstall intervideo in a heartbeat if there is another piece I can use. Please help!!!! As you can see I am a newbee.

I hope my amendment will appear on the internet for all the world to see. This software is a piece of junk!! And to add insult to injury, there is no way that you can talk to a support person about the problem you may have with it. It's like the software maker is hiding from it's users. Most people have this software already installed on the computer , therefor Intervideo does not support it; ironically, the computer manufacturer does not support it either because they do not have a support person who knows anything about it. So I am caught between a rock and a hard place; meaning I"M SCREWED!

This will be my 3rd message about this problem with Intervideo Creator. I am hoping someone will come to my aid. Wouldn't it be nice if the Intervideo people would get on the net and take a look at my pleadings. This piece of software was the selling point for my purchase of the HP Media Center computer, which was not cheap. So you can tell I am disapointed, to say the least.

HEY YOU OUT THERE!! Is there another software that will capture, and reformat VHS tapes and then burn them to a DVD? IF you know of any, please get in touch with me. tillar@atlanticbb.net
