Something happened on my DVD Shrink that I want to be sure I correct. I was taking a couple movies I had ripped with Decrypter and trying to shrink/burn them to DVD+R with Shrink. Pretty standard. Somehow, my destination setting (which I don't mess with) got changed to a directory on my C: Drive instead of the DVD+R that was in my burner. It ended up making an Audio and Video folder on my C Drive with the movies. I've never really noticed there being a box that asks if I want Shrink to automatically create the audio and video folders on the destination path, but noticed it when I discovered the destination path had been reset to the hard-drive. Should I check the box for Shrink to create those folders when I run Shrink for Decrypter ripped files to DVD+R or do I leave it unchecked? Thanks.

When hitting the backup button in DVD Shrink and the new window opens...the top window should read ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter. If it only reads ISO image file, you are still good to go. All you do is open DVD Decrypter, go to Mode->ISO->write, and select the ISO image created with DVD Shrink. The first way just makes it more automatic, but the results are the same.

I personally create the folders that I want decrypter and shrink to use. This just makes it easier for me to locate them as I alway look in the same spot. I followed bbmayo idea and it works well for me. It will also work the other way as decrypter will make default files on C. I just hate having to search for files that I did not create.

I guess I wasn't thorough in my response. Like 9mm said, I save all my files to drive D: period. This way I don't have to search for any files on my HD. Just click on the D drive and everything is right there.

You have to set your destination to a file on your HDD and tell it to burn with Nero or Decrypter. You cannot set your destination as your DVD Drive, Shrink does not burn it cannot go directly to a disk.
