cant run practice in superstar mode-game freezes

I am new to playing Madden games(or any other football game),but here is my problem.I went through my first season fine,everything worked great.Since I started my second season if I try to go to a practice the game says LOADING....but it never loads.Everything else works fine.When I simulate my practices and go straight to a game it works great.It's not that I like doing practices,but my stats are dropping after each game(speed drops by -2 and overall drops-1)My superstar is a WR.I played the madden bowl,super bowl and pro bowl but after that it no longer lets me do practice.I contacted the number in the back of the book and they said the only fix they could think of would be to pull out my memory card before clicking on"schedule"and maybe this would fix the problem.Well it did not!!!!!I have let the game sit for 1hr45min.on the LOADING....screen and still nothing.Has anyone else had this problem?PLEASE HELP
