I have a nec dvd_rw nd 1300a i've been burning dvds for a while now and most problems i have i can figure them out ,but this one i cant.
i have always used dvd-r i recently purchased 4 memorex dvd-r spools and heres the funny thing
only two out of the four spools worked .i tried evry disc in the non-working ones what could cause this problem?
i dont uderstand why 100 dvds would work but not the other 100
they were the same brand same evrything
could you guys help?

Those memosux are some of the worst media on the market. Get rid of 'em and don't look back.

ok i got rid of em but now im having the same problem with sony only they dont work at all

now im trying verbatim and they seem to work fine

with a nec nd 1300a can i use DVD+R?

and thanx for the tip on memosux.

yeah stick with the better blank media which would be Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim

also i would make sure your firmware is up to date check here

and yes you should be able to use DVD+R BUT if you do i would booktype the DVD+R to DVD-ROM that makes the media the most compatable with all standalone players

and when i try to type in the drive it says incorect file i downloaded nec nd 1300a 1.10
