OK, I know this has been talked about sooo many times, but this is NOT ripping for me. Everytime it dies at the 4th VOB (vts_01_04.vob IIRC). I have tried the latest versions of DVDFab Express, AnyDVD, CloneDVD, DVD Decrypter, and Shrink. Nothing is a go. Every program dies at the same location. Shrink actually blue screens my XP Pro box. Thought it was a bad disc, took it back to the store, exchanged it, and still no go. Dies in the same firking spot every firking time.

Tried to make a PSL for Decrypter. No go. Was still running 6 hours later kicking out bad sectors. (Try running it longer?)

I have AnyDVD (Ver. 5.5.1.1) running in the background, and it says it's removed all the copy-protection present as well as bad sectors.

Alas, I am frustrated. Can anyone offer up some advice not already on the boards? I have read every post on Lords of Dogtown here, and tried everything else already mentioned.

NM, I swapped DVD drives and it worked. So if you too have tried everything, try a different drive. Some just don't like the sectors I guess...

That was the old way of creating a PSL2 file.

You should try this freeware PSL2 creator.

Hopefully this tool will let DVD Decrypter stay on the scene as a good freeware ripper.

And you are right - a created PSL2 file in the old way that worked on one burner/reader - could have problems on another reader/burner.

WTF... You cant use any HTML tags in here...
