can u use seagate instead of maxor?

In principle you can use any IDE hard drive but for some drives you may need to modify the Network Adaptor so that the IDE connector and molex power connector line up so they can be plugged in. I use a 160gb Western Digital drive and had to modify my adaptor to increase the spacing between the power and IDE connector, nothing major but meant I had to spend some time filing and drilling.
