I have not heard of it, and I wonder if you are talking about DVD43. That I have heard of.
AnyDVD is tops in my book.

I agree, though he insists that it is dvd for free. I have used dvd 43 and AnyDVD and AnyDVD is much better by my view especially as the new AnyDVD 5.5.1.1 has come out

Think I know where the confusion is here. In the terms and conditions, (don't tell me you didn't read them) when installing DVD43 the author says he wanted to call it "DVD for free", but as he put it, ?all the cool names were gone?. Hope this helps!

What do you mean by higher decryption ability? AnyDVD and DVDFAB has handled pretty much all ecryptions so why bother w/ something else. Are you talking about speed or what?

I have AnyDVD, and I have had it for quite some time. I have about a 99% success rate on backing up my movies. I am very happy with it. That said, if I were to download and install DVD43 will that in any way cause an issue with AnyDVD, or will the two compliment each other? Or should I just be content with what I have? BTW I usually use Shrink, then rip with Decrypter....

@safe999
The program you are looking for is Free DVD, put out by DVD Idle, the makers of DVDFab.
Here's the link: http://dvdidle.com/free.htm

AnyDVD and DVD43 are known to create conflict with each other. As a matter of fact when installing AnyDVD your PC will be scanned for DVD43 and if it is detected you will be prompted to uninstall it.

Good choice, it is updated much more frequently than DVD43 so as not to leave you high and dry when the latest title hits the shelf.
