Does anyone know if there are any programs to check a dvd after it is burned to insure that it works?I have burned a few dvd's using the same program to burn, the same type dvd,and on one player it will play, and another it won't.I know about the dvd+ and dvd-,it seems to be more than that.

You probably have 1 good DVD player and 1 crappy DVD player. Did you burn to +R? Do both DVD players accept +R format?

If your DVD works on one player and not the other then there is something probably wrong with the DVD player. Try a 3rd player if you can before you start using them as coasters.

DVDinfopro will check the disc. You can download it from the software tab at this forum.

What brand, media code, and format are the discs you are useing? Cheap media is very incosistant. Booktyping DVD+R media to dvd-rom may help if your drive is capable of doing so.
