Please can someone tell me what i am doing wrong when converting divx to dvd?
I did one with VSO divx to dvd (trial) and it was perfect. So i bought the full version and converted 2 different movies but they were about 10 secs out of sync.
Is there any way of getting them back in sync? Is there a better program?

Your problem could be that the audio in your AVI files is VBR MP3 format which is the Most Common Audio format found in Downloaded Movies and this Format will allmost allways either Go out of sync after encodeing or the Audio Will totally disapear...

The way to solve this Problem is by decompressing the audio in your AVI file before you convert it to DVD,...

You can download a small tool that will convert your AVI file with VBR MP3 audio into an AVI With Uncompressed audio which should encode perfectly In Sync ....The Tool will make an AVI file that is Much Bigger than the Original but this will not affect how big it will be after converting to DVD....

Hi,
I have an AVI doing the same thing...in G-spot it did indeed say it was a divx5 encode with mp3 audio. I used the PCM converter as suggested but it is still out of sync?? Any other ideas? Could I convert to mpeg and then VOB it...would the audio still be mp3?
