Ok, make sure your firewall is on low or med. Join ther person's party you want to force host to. In zonealarm, goto firewall>zones. Make sure your network is in "Internet Zone" click on add and add your buddies IP to Trusted Zone, turn Internet Zone to High and start the game...that simple. And make sure you have bungie's IP in Trusted Zone also. It shows up in commview every time.
That's it, extremely simple, don't know why you are having trouble

thanks dude....the reason why i didnt get it is becuse some tuts are telling me that i have to add a range to the internet zone ( which u cant even do.) But what u said is alot like xX360Xx's tut on how to do it....

BTW: How will i know that he is getting host when the game starts?
will the game take a while to start?

From my expierence, you must re-join the party after every game. Is this true?

It seems, after I force host the first game, then if I leave the firewall on high, and we start another game, someone else gets host.

Is this normally what happens? Do you have to re-join the party and re-set your firewalls everytime?

@Tyman: For some reason, it matters for me. If giving host I keep in Net zone. If booting, in trusted. If i try booting in net zone, it lags me out.
