Need help burning PS2 games

I have used Hd Loader for about a year now. But I think more and more games are protected from being able to just run off the HDD. Like the game I got today Genji wont play after it gets past the opening sequence after I click on new game and it also wont start when I want to play an already saved game, the screen just stays black. I would like to know how to copy Ps2 games like Genji or Shadow of Colossus so I can play them on the Ps2. I am completely new too this so I was wondering if someone could reply with an easy step by step method to allow me to do this. Thanks.

oh boy, it seems like more and more people are asking this same question over and over again. there's tons and tons of info on this forum on how to do it. and there's also a very handy search function you can use to find what you're looking for. I suggest you try that out. But here's a very brief guideline.

* Get the program DVD Decrypter (freeware)
* use ISO READ Mode to create an image of your original disc to your computer
* use ISO WRITE Mode to burn the actual image onto your blank media

TIPS:
Start off with burning at lower speeds, use DVD-R media with a good quality brand.

That's about it, other than of course the obvious you'll need some type of mod on your ps2 (swap/chip). Like I said, search the forums, there's a lot more than what I said here.

Yes that's what I meant by a swap method mod...Swap Magic is what most people use on this board.
