If you mean AnyDVD by slysoft, then yes. It's an excellent background ripper for both dvd and cd encryptions. It's updated regularly. It works with many other dvd programs like nero/dvd shrink/dvd decrypter/clonedvd/one-click dvd.It also pulls off region codes-making your DVD-RW drive region free.
No extra step is involved. When you see the red fox icon in the lower right corner in your utility tray-Then you know it is running.
This is one of the few,not free, programs that I recommend. I don't use it a lot,but I have to use it on the newer sony arccos encryptions.I do leave it turned off until the need arrises. There was a $10 discount for this program through AD,so you can get it for $30! Excellent program.
I would recommend it as well. I use it running in the background for every backup, (whether I need it or not, just out of habit). It has not failed me yet. Well worth the money spent just to know that you can handle all the encryptions. It is updated regularily so you don't get nasty encryptions suprises.
Thank you all, I may post later on how to use this program or can you just put in your original DVD movie and go...or are there settings that nned to be done..
Once you have installed it on your computer it will show up in the task tray as a little red fox. When you put the dvd in the drive the fox will flash lighter and then darker again. Viola, encryption removed. Then just open your ripping program and go to town.
I do have a detailed settings guide in my signature block.
