Soul Calibur 3 is kinda glitchy on HDLoader.

I had first heard that Soul Calibur 3 did work on HDLoader but the guy who had posted said that he couldn't get into the museam with out it going black on him where he had to reset. I used Winhiip to save SC3 on my ps2 hdd and made sure there were to fragments in the save.

So far, there has been no problems with loader or any kinda of error with vs mode or with with the story line parts of the game. The problems that i'm having are:

1)The "N" for new items will not go away on the shop for the main menu even though i've already seen all the new items.

2)The training mode will stay on the owl figure and i will have to soft reset to get out of it. Basically it will never stop loading.

3)In free train after around 10 rounds, the game froze and had to hard reset.

4)In the museum I tried to go through some of the history for rock and it would not load. No reset was needed because i could still exit the menu normally.

That's all that I could find so far. It's not that big of a deal, but I figure that someone would like to know.

I thought it was just me having problems with the Owl guy when i went to train but nope seems yourself and a lot of other people are having problems, i guess we will need to what for a patch.

The only character that i have gotten to work with the tutorial is Talim. She will only work if it is the first time you boot the game and she is the first character you select. If you soft reset, she will nolonger work. I'm going to try all the character to see if i can repeat my results.

I took my PS2 to college yesterday and i really got to break in the game. After about a 100 rounds or so, music and effects were no longer audible. All that you could here was the sound of like train tracks or something. This would happen only during rounds and not character selects.

If anyone has other glitches or fixes, please post.

After a soft reset from a failed practice/tutorial, the options menu will not work until the console is hard reset. Under any other circomstances, a soft reset will not effect the options menu.

I'm tested all modes right now. So far mode 1 has no effect.

Well I tried all the modes and all mode combinations and there is no effect. I also tried hdloader with both the toxic patch and .7c

I also went through all the characters that i've unlocked so far, and the only character that you are able to use in practice/tutorial are:

Nightmare
Astaroth
Talim
Raphael
Cervantez

The only way that you can get these characters to work is if you don't choose any of the glitchy ones. Once you need to soft reset, these characters will nolonger work. Also some of the glitches stem off these glitchy characters in practice/tutorial. I has said earlier that i had a problem with Rock in his character history. That didn't happen when I chose non glitchy characters.

Another thing I discovered... If you choose 10 glitchy characters, soft reseting after each one, the game will freeze and you will have to do a hard reset.
