Hello,

I recently read that it is possible to play Online games from a modded Playstation 2 but only if the game was created before 2003. Does anyone have a list of games with online capabilities and were made before 2003, and thus has the ability to play online with a modded PS2?

PS: I am currently deciding what MOD Chip to choose. What would you guys suggest out of all of these mods here: http://www.modsupplier.com/catalog/ps2-mod-chips-c-25_27.html

It is possible to play games released after 2003 online you just have to follow the faq stickied in the topics section.

Also don't take my word for it but DMS4 or Matrix Infinity seem to be the best and most popular. Depends on your ps2 version.

Yes, I read that you could by ripping the DNAS ID from the original game, but the links it brings you to are down.

Matrix Infinity and DMS4 (Pro or Lite) are both great chips. Don't buy the Matrix Infinity from the website in your previous post because that one was a clone. I would try a different website.
