I made the ISO with DVD Decrypter and burnt it at 4x speed with DVD Decrypter to a TDK DVD-R. However when I played it in my PS2,it plays perfecly until Rooneys face comes into place,when it freezes. What am I doing wrong? Im using a modchip.

FIFA 06 needs a rebuild, search around, there are plenty of threads on this.

I don't think it needs a rebuild if he's using a modchip. I Burnt mine straight and it works fine.

I don't know what the problem is....i also burnt it at 4x, but to a Verbatim DVD+R. I doubt that's the problem. Try to just burn it again at a lower speed.

Maybe for you it'll need a rebuild. tbh, i have no idea.

Yeah he wouldn't need to rebuild it with a modchip. What modchip do you have? Does it say anything like Toxic OS or Matrix when you turn on your PS2?

no. btw I found out it goes off the Rooney screen but when you start a game,it gets nearly right to the end of the loading bar but then stops for 5 minutes.then the game comes up finally but keeps freezing.Thanks for the replys.

btw,Fluper, I heard you can burn it up to half the speed of the DVD,and the TDK disks I have are 8x,so that should mean 4x is ok?

EDIT:Sorry i forgot,i burnt it at 2x to try to be safe.Anyway if you cant help,ill cope.

Yup. 2x should work, but if it doesn't 4x is the way to go.

And yeah, i was using 8x DVD+R's.

I backed up this game (PAL version) without rebuild. Read and write using DVD Decrypter and burned at x1 ...never had a problem with it, runs just like the original. Im using Swap Magic 3.3

if your using a modchip no need for a rebuild, just try a slower burning speed, if that doesn't help you then it might be your media. However if ur using swap magic, u might need a rebuild for it too run smoother, if u rebuild it and still have the same problems again try burning at a slower speed, or trying a different media.

will PS2 Fifa 2006 usa work with swap magic 3.6 n fliptop????? because i get it to burn then i start to play it, but right after i pick my teams and the game starts to load...the game freezes? ive burned twice already and same thing happens. what do i do????

Burn at 2x or 4x on an 8x DVD-R. Use good media.

1. Q. How do I burn PS2 games?

2. Q. Does the type of media I use matter?
A. YES: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/240341
If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, etc.

If that doesn't work try rebuilding. I rebuild my EA sports games.

10. Q. What does rebuilding an iso mean?
A. It means that some games 4.36-4.38GB's may need rebuilt to work with Swap Magic. Games over 4.38GB's will need rebuilt. This isn't true for ALL games over 4.38GB's and differs on a game to game basis. There is no need to rebuild games if you have a modchip.

11. Q. How Do I rebuild games?
