Wonder how long it is going to take for some more to come in, with all those rainchecks floating out there they better get a lot in stock, lol.

@arniebear/thelox714

yea, i think it REALLY depends on the manager at whichever particular location does the "raincheck" for you...i wasn't even given a chance to choose my quantity, he looked it up online and for MY zip code, it said "limit 1", so he just put down ONE at that price~ :) it's better than nothing, so i am happy~ :)

good day to you all~

@ dipset121 .. someone's BSin' you. I've been buying the Office Depot DVD+R discs for several years now to back up DVDs for the grandkids. Always been Ritek made and always been top quality.

Others have been using them (including saugmon) and everyone that I've seen post here at AD loves 'em.

Besides, they have that gorgeous Ritek purple color

Just to add more fun to the mix, this is the info from the latest batch of Office Depot DVD's I bought last week, listed as 16X, I was astonished not to find Ritek of course but they seem to perform almost as well...

If any of you are lucky enough to live near a BJ's Wholesale club, they have a coupon in their November Journal for 50 Fuji DVD's, + or- for $9.99, limit one, the sale runs from Nov 12-Nov 18. No listing of either speed or if they are MIJ. Will update as soon as I buy a pack.

yeah thats a pretty good deal

in order of quality
Verbatim,Ritek (ridata) same media ,Memorex would be my last choice BUT i think all the DL memorx code out as Ritek which would be ok ,i would def. stick with the Verbatim

DVD+R and DVD-R are just different formats theres no quality difference between the two just depends on what your standalone dvd player likes your best bet is to get the DVD+R and booktype them to dvd-rom that makes them the most compatable with all dvd players.

and i would burn them at a slow speed like 2x to make sure your playback is fine

Just got back from BJ's, the Fuji's are MIJ and code out as TY '02's, so if you have the coupon, and have the membership, you're in this week! (regular price is $19.99 for 50 by the way)

I just got back from office max and office depot.
I got the last 10 pack of dl verbs for $20 at office max.
I got the last 50 spindle of OD +8x,but they had no other spindle for the free pack so the associate gave me maxell +8x spindle of 50 for free! 50 Ritek-r03 and 50 Maxell-002-00 for $25,what a bargain!

They had a ton of 16x office depot 50 pack spindles for the same buy1/get 1 free. Anybody have any MID codes on them?

@saugmon
I bought some last week with a 50% off coupon, they are RICOHJPNR03, not the usual Ritek's G-05's you get with the 8X. No problems with them yet. I just hope that Office Depot goes back to Ritek, was kinda spoiled by them for the past year.

Thanks for the info blivetNC. Ricohjpn-r02's are pretty good.I was a little skeptical when I saw all the spindles of +16x OD sitting there and haven't heard of anyone using them.
Later!

 Out of the 8 spindles of OD media that I bought this past week, 4 were RitekR03, 3 were RitekR04 and 1 was RicohjpnR03. This is the first OD +R media that I've seen that wasn't Ritek. I have, gotten OD branded +RW that was RicohjpnW11 .. personally I like the Ricoh stuff just a tad more that the Ritek
