hey dude since you have a slimline with matrix infinity.... i heard that slim ps2 will usually burn out its laser since it is modded. I have a slim and matrix infinity also but im afraid to install it cuz i dont wanna jack up my ps2. You havent had any problems or anything? How long have you had ur ps2 modded?
Sorry, I don't mean to hijack but I was wondering why waleedwc has a matrix infinty and swapmagic? I don't know much about the matrix chips, but why did you order swapmagic when you already have a chip? Online play is the only thing I can think of unless your chip doesn't support DVD9.

My slim PS2 has a laser fix in it, which prevents it from burning out the laser. But some laser fixes to not fix the problem entirely. They stop the laser from burning out, but when you switch on the console there is still a high amount of current that goes to the laser so they havnt been able to fix the syndrome yet, but just get a laser fix and u should be good, and for extra safety, after u mod ur mod ur ps2, before u turn it on, open the lid, so the laser doesnt get any power straight away.
ok cool, but just be careful, just coz its bigger doesnt mean it wont cause problems, after soldering make sure nothing is bridged, if u check after a problem has occured it might be to late.
