I am trying to backup the movie Remember The Titans but I keep getting an error.
With DVD43 ver 3.6.2.11 error: DVD matches driver region. Use key exchange to get title key.
With DVD shrink error Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
DVD Decrypter I get a lot of errors. Has anyone had this problem before?

A CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) error is DVD Shrink's and/or DVD Decrypter's way of telling you that it cannot read the disc (DVD). It is caused from the disc being to dirty (fingerprints, smudges, etc.) or being to scratched.

Clean it then retry. :)

The DVD is new and it will play with no problems.

It really doesn't matter if its new or not. I would still try to clean it. I backed this movie up no problem. It contains no newer special copyright protection on it.

Being able to successfully watch it in a DVD player is irrelevant, as drives and players operate on different programming. Drives are logical, players can interpret digital signals and are not choked by bad data.

After you clean it, it still gives off errors. It is poorly authored so you need to take it back and exchange it for another.

Having a problem with Remember the Titans too. I can decrypt without problems but when I then try to copy it I get the video without problems but I cannot get the audio. I have tried to play the copy on my computer as well as a stand alone DVD Player connected to my TV but still no audio. I can play it on my computer by using Windows Media Player and the video and audio are fine. When I try to play on my Dell computer using Power DVD I get the message that the audio is not supported. Any ideas?...Thanks

If you put the disc in and load it up in DVD Shrink, what audio streams are available to pick from?

The reason you not getting any sound is your computer and maybe your DVD player is not DTS compatible. While the movie is playing in your DVD player, hit the "Audio" button or similar on the DVD players remote control. You should hear audio then.
