I searched the forums and didn't find quite what i was looking for, he're my question.

I have a slim ps2 and have a flip top on the way. What I want to know is with the flip top installed, does it open with the original open button on the front of the ps2, or does it only open and close by hand using the little notch in the fliptop.

I ask because i have my ps2 ready to go and i'm not sure if i need to keep in the black spring that pops the orignal sony top open when you hit the button.
