So, are you trying to burn these movies on CD or DVD media?

Most of the commercial DVD's will have some form of encryption on them, this includes the movies that you own and want to backup. Programs such as DVDFab, DVD43, AnyDVD, DVDdecrypter, DVDShrink are available to help eliminate the encryptions so that you can backup your movies.

There are guides in my signature that will help explain the process.

I have not used Nero so I cannot address that particular burning program, but I have and do use the others mentioned. They are great programs and will assist you in backing up your movies.

A great oneclick program is CloneDVD2 used with AnyDVD available at http://www.slysoft.com

Good Luck

You need to convert your AVI files to DVD compliant files. Go here for a guide and software to do this, Nero is not enough.

AnyDVD is only a driver that works in the background to break encryption, it is a great tool but you still need other programs with it. You can use Nero but you must use Nero Recode to compress your movie to fit a DVD5 disk.

thanks a bunch arniebear but i followed that guide which is great thank u again..^_^
but im on step 16 and it confuses me greatly

was step 16 right after i backed it up(whatever that really means) and changed it to iso.

i saved to anew folder so i know exactly what i was gonna get. it gave me a rar file. i opened in winRaR

and it became a vob file? with a bunch of other bup and iso files.

is that right? i just open the vob? in nero and burn?

i tried to burn that large vob file and an pop up that said something about dolby digital 5.1 or DTS and i need a diff version of nero?

thanks so much already o.O
