Hey, K this is my problem. I have DVD Shrink & Decrypter and I'm trying to back up Kingdom Of Heaven right now and after I used those two programs it's all good then i try to burn the files onto a dvd using RecordNow! that came on my comp and half way through it stops with and error. All the error says is some stupid number and it says that I should try again or clean the disk???? Wow. So if anyone could help me in any way that would be dope thanks.

OK, what kind of blanks are you using? Run them through DVD Identifier which is available here:
http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
and tell us what it says.

Now, once we establish that we're using quality media, lets skip recordnow and use just Shrink and Decrypter for your backup by following this guide:

Why not just burn with decrypter since you are working with it anyhow. Check out the guide by bbmayo in my signature block that will give you step by step instructions with pictures. Great method. I use this method the most.

I did Kingdom of Heaven this way and it's perfect.

I think you'll probably get the same answer from most here at Ad, the brand of disc you are using is not a good one and many cause burning failures, suggest you try a better brand such as Taiyo and if you follow guides given by others you should overcome the problem, good luck

Kingdom Of Heaven is one that I also had trouble with when using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. Both of those programs are no longer up to date and Kingdom Of Heaven is pretty new. I finally backed it up by having AnyDVD running in the background while running DVD Decrypter.

After ripping it that way, I then ran it through DVD Shrink and then burned it.

There are a few new copy protection schemes being used now and DVD Decrypter just can't handle all of them any more.

No offense here, but that is one cheap media. Don't tell me that its manufacture id code is CMC MAG.

If you're able to rip the movie into your hard drive using DVD Decrypter, then it's either a DVD Shrink or your Record Now issue. Is there a way you can post an "image" of the error or a better description of the error you're having issue with?

I am assuming that from your first post that you have the movie ripped and shrunk on the hard drive already and your issue comes up whilest burning. Correct?

Use the guide in my signature which is specifically for DVDdecrypter and DVDShrink. If you follow that guide, lower your burn speed to 4x, set your target size to 4300, get better media, you should be burning effectively in short order. Remember follow the guide step by step and don't bother using the burn program that came with your computer. Use DVDdectypter to burn.

DVD Decrypter is pretty picky about media, especially if they're either dirty with few scratches and or low/cheap media. So if you're going to burn with DVD Decrypter, then I highly suggest you to use high quality media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim and Maxell (made in japan).

On the other hand, don't burn any higher than 4X, plus your firmware has to be the lastest for better recognition on the media. Just a side note that's all.
