i posted a question long time ago and i didnt get a 100% answer so i am asking again in hope that someone will be able to help.

i got a backup copy from my friend and when i tried to play it, its loads. but when it get to the part where you pick if you want to play street fighter 3 or hyper street figher (at the game selection screen) it goes black and ask for a ps or a ps2 game. does anyone know whats wrong and how i can fix this problem.

i also understand that it might be the way the game was burn. has anyone burned the game got it to work and what did you do to get it to work.

(information i didnt not say before)
i tried it with my friends swap magic and it worked. now this got me thinking. do i need to change it to NTSC if so where can i get a patch? or is there another problem? oh and my tv is 50hZ where as my friends one is 60hZ.

If your TV is 50hZ then it is a PAL TV
Where as your friends is NTSC at 60hZ
i would think that if there was a screen rate problem
you would notice it right off the start. You screen would
just go wacky.
If you are using Swap Magic then you can try changing the screen
mode to match the region of the game. But i am not sure that will help with the loading problem at all. It could just be that your
PS2 is having a problem with the media you friend used, or the speed
that it was burned at. A game that works on his may not always
work on yours.
What media did he use?
What speed was it burned at?
Have you made any back ups yourself that work?
If you did have you triedbacking up that game yourself
onto the media you know works for your PS2?
