Ok, so can anyone tell me what the case is with Silver bottom blank DVDs, are they replacing purple and are they better?

I can't seem to find a "yay silver is here at last and much better" post. I'm almost through my last batch of Ritek Go5 discs which are the best I've ever used for compatibility and appear to be discontinued.

I wanna know if silver is still in the early stages or if they're a decent type of media. Thanks

Falconer hi :)
not sure. the only disc's i've seen that are silver have been RW.
anyway, if you are happy with GO5's stick with them . as you can see by my sig i use nothing else myself (except a few Verbs i tried recently)
if you can bitset try the RitekR03 +r booktyped -rom. that's what i am replaceing my GO5's with as i run out of them, with great success.
no problem getting GO5's from svp
