I burned the game on slow speed on a Sony -R and a +R....with Nero. I use the swap magic 3.6...No difference between the +R and -R....I also tried to rebuild it but with the same effect....All i get is the green code running over the screen and thats it....Anyone got his backup working? Please tell me how.

I can help here. I had the exact same prob.

I take it you have a uk pal console.

What you have to do is is rebuild the image with cddvdgen and make sure the files are added the exact same order as isobuster opens them in..

Then burn with dvddecrypter. Boot with swap magic 3.6 as you normally do. Select pal from the mode as normal. Then dont do a special boot as it will hang press x instead so it does a normal boot. And it will work 100%. Bear in mind when the game starts and you get the green screen with the code scrolling down it takes about 1-2 mins for the game to actually start.

The_Matrix_Path_of_Neo_Usa_PS2DVD-GAMEOVER is the version I have. I use swap magic 3.6 on my PS2 slim version. I had no difficulty getting the game to run at all. I simply extracted the image using WinRAR. I did not rebuild the image using Isobuster or any other tool as there were no DUMMY files found within the image file. Not sure why so many people are rebuilding the file or suggesting others do so, as I have only needed to do this when there were dummy files present. Anyway i then burned the image using Nero, (I have version 6.3) at 4x on taiyo yuden 8x DVD+R media. I have a IOMagic 8x DVD+/- RW burner (IDE1008I) with the latest firmware updated on it. I mention this because I got a few coasters a while back when trying to burn some games and it was due to a problem with my firmware version on my writer. Firmware updates can be found at http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php and u may need dvdidentifier in order to determine what burner u have. Like I said I had no problems getting the game to work just extracting and burning the image using Nero at 4x on DVD+R media. No rebuilding no special tricks. I will say this one last thing, I personally have never sucessfully burned a game use dvddecryptor on my comp. Everyones computer is different so try using different programs to burn. Nero and alcohol120 work for me while dvddecryptor does not at all.

Very strange indeed. When i unpacked and burned it, it just got stuck on the green code screen. But after the rebuild worked fine.. As you say I suppose different PC's encounter different problems..Plus many people find there ps2's dont like +R I to have a slimline and +R's work fine untill you patch the dna$ and then they just wont boot. So as a rule I always use -R's as I patch most of my games to play online.

At least with the two posts we have made everyone will get the game working ;)
