SWAP MAGIC!!! HELP PLEASE!!!

PLEASE HELP ME!!! I recently bought a swap magic pack with the slidetool and it's not working. I do everything like it says and when Swapmagic loads and there is 2 options: 'Load Program' and 'Video Mode: Normal' I switch the disks and it says in blue letters under the options 'Not a valid PS2 disc'. What could the problem be??? Also I am not sure if the versions of the games I have tried are NTSC or PAL. Thanks ppl!

Try another media type, such as if your using rtd use memorix, i had this problem or thought i did it turns out it was how the guy was burning it that was the problem so check that too. How do you do this trial and error

are you using the slide card to open AND close the ps2 tray when putting in the burnt game?

lol memorex ... iv never heard of this brand, i dont think they sell them in australia but iv read alot of the content on these forums and they dont seem to meet my standards.

Iv only ever used TDK & Sony DVDs and never had a problem ... only when my burner was stuffed. thats only coz i burnt heaps of movies for myself when i got my pc, theres a new burner in my pc and i hope to get at least 500 burns out of it before it crashes again.

I only use sony disks to burn ps2 games .. i dont know why but i just like it simple

I first use the slide tool to open the tray then I take out the slide tool replace the disks then close the tray with my finger then afterwards I use the slide tool to open and close the tray

Use your slide to tool close the tray the first time, don't reseal it with your hands.

How do you close the tray with the slide tool? When I try to the tool gets stuck in between the ps2 and tray while I'm trying to close it. Thanks

you do the opposite to what you did to open it. when you open the tray you put the slide card in the left hand side of the tray and slide to the right , so to close it put the slide card in the right hand side and slide to the left. if its your first time using it , it will take a few tries to get it right. dont force it, if the card doesnt move easily you have not got it in right. the slide card is shaped to fit exactly in a particular spot, just keep trying and you will get it. took me about twenty minutes to get it down when i got mine

yea .. when your closing do the same as u opened it but dont pull the tray out

closing it ...

push tray in with fingers (all the way in)

then use the slide to the same way you opeened the tray .. the tray should pop out slightly (like when u opened it) but there should be a bump

pull the slide tool out about 1/2 to 1 cm and push to the right.

push the slide tool in and slide left (the tray should close fully)

then press X

Thanks HEAPS everyone! I managed to make it work with everyone's help! Basically I did everything right it's just that once the tray was open and I had swapped disks I did the wrong thiing. Instead of pushing the tray all the way in, I push it pretty much in and then use the slide tool to finish pushing it in (by sliding from right to left). Thanks guys! Cya
