Sync Problems converting from AVi files or IFO files

Hi guys. I could see a friend of this forum (Adonis), using the AVS Video Converter, he never had any sync problems converting videos from one format to any other one. I have the AVS Video Converter (3.1) and I cant solve this problem. I'm trying to burn to DVD a 2 hrs movie (in AVI) and have the problem. Also, converting a IFO files (a DVD burned on a DVD burner for TV's) to AVI. PLease, I will apreciate any kind of help. Thanx
