Ok so heres my problem.

I Made a Intro file in windows movie maker. i then converted it to avi and encoded it to xvid. In this file is low quality audio file i've gotten of a site.

now what im trying to do is, is append the intro file with a capture i've done. First i started getting messages that said the framerates were different. I fixed that. Then i would get errors saying that the audio blocks were different 2 vs 1.

Now im getting an error saying (please note that these are some what of the responses virtual dub gave me, i cannot go back and check because my computer is freezing up as i write this) that the audio in the intro file and the tv capture differ. It said something like, 8000 VS 160000.

I've tried making the Intro clips audio a higher bitrate but i cant get it high enough to match the tv captures. Anyone have any ideas on what i should do?

It isn"t talking about the audio bitrate it is talking about the sample rate of the audio and you should be able to set the sample rate to anywere from 8,000hz all the way up to 48,000hz in Virtual dub.....

So find out what the sample rate is of the clip you are trying to match and then use the "Conversion" settings under "Audio" in V-Dub to resample the audio to the correct sample rate.....

Cheers
