does anyone use these disk's. I've haven't had any problems with them so far but only just started backing up games for a week. So does anyone know if they stay good after a period of time?

The general view is no... they don't do well for ps2 backups.

Also, instead of posting threads on whatever it is you want to find out, use the SEARCH box to find out what you need. There are many useful threads on this forum and with just a bit of reading you can generally find out anything you need to know.

All credit to Tokijij for having a lot of info on there that newbs look for..saves us a lot of time writing the answers to the same questions over and over again for the newbs ;)

Princo's are just fake TDK DVD's
even if they work they are low quality and may cause you problems
down the road with your laser, or the games may just stop
working.
they are listed as 3rd class media, and there are only 4 classes
1 being the best of course and 4 being the worst.

Princo are ok for movies but I wouldn't use them for PS2 games. You should hit Office Max this week. They have there brand of 8X DVD-Rs on sale for $24.99/50 pack and it's buy one get one free. They are media code RITEKG04 and most agree those are some of the best.
