I have downloaded a few games and some boot up fine, some a little slow, and others during game play the games keep going but its like the lights go out. But I think I figured that out. When burning HAVE NOTHING ELSE RUNNING. But most of the time I just burn the ISO file to disk and all works well. I tried to back up Tony Hawk American Wasteland and I got a .MDS file and an .ISO file. i have read here to burn .MDS file and also to burn .ISO file. So which do I actually burn on backups. I was burning at 1X on a 8X Phillips DVD-R, I will try at 4X, maybe that will make a difference. But if anyone can give me a straight answer that would be great. I know for downloads, burn the .ISO. Which should i do for back ups.

Honestly, members have put up tutorials to burn an 8X DVD-R at 4X, using either the .iso, and .mds file. I burned using the .mds file using dvd-decrypter. Try burning at 4x speed on an 8X dvd-R

Yes, with DVD Decrypter you should burn the MDS file
and on 8X Philips DVD's you should set the speed to 4X
i use Philips 8X DVD-R all the time and have no problems
with them, burn them all at 4X using MDS file with DVD Decrypter

Cool thanks alot, cause i use Alcohol 120 for downloads and it works fine, but i will use DVD Decrypter for downloads. Cool Thanks alot
