is there or will there ever be a fix to this problem?? or is it pretty much impossible?!? has anyone successfully done this yet with a backup?

i have a version 9ps2 with magic V chip..

Nope, Socom is one of games that no matter what you do you can't play it online through a backup. I believe single player will work just fine if you're playing from a backup. But online you'll have to use your original for that for sure. Patching DNA$ won't fix it as far as I know.
